spring mini IAS 2017-0211.jpg

Join us for a short and sweet photoshoot with your family that is different and fun! Enjoy modern mini sessions in Princeton on Saturday, June 10. As I do in my regular work, I will capture your family just the way you are right now, no cheesy smiles or stiff poses here but cool and beautiful portraits of you being yourselves.

It's time to update your kids headshots, show them off in a book or a frame to remember how cute they were in 2017. Also grandma told me she would looooooove a beautiful picture with their faces in it.

Saturday, June 10th afternoon in Princeton, NJ (exact location, hours, and infos will be sent ahead of time). Rain date is Sunday 11th.

  • a 15-20 minute photoshoot outside

How does it work ?
The mini sessions will take place in Princeton, NJ in a beautiful field where kids can run free and be silly. The goal is to keep those sessions short and sweet! I am used to work with families so I shoot fast to catch the kids being cute and energetic! I like the sessions to be relaxed and fun, no one should feel overwhelmed or uncomfortable. I will deliver between 15 to 20 awesome images in an online gallery.

How many sessions per hour ?
I book 2 to 3 sessions per hour and they are back-to-back. You need to arrive 15 minutes prior to the shoot to find the parking lot and walk to the agreed location. It will help the kids warm up, get familiar with the environment and be ready to have their picture taken. If you know your child might be shy and/ or need extra time, then arrive earlier! We can always switch clients too (book with a friend!). There will be a few toys available and books.

How much is a mini session and what's included ?
A mini-session cost $250 and this covers up to 2 adults + 2 kids. It includes our time together along with activities, a gallery of 15 to 20 edited pictures, and 5 digital files in high definition for you to keep forever. I will create a private online gallery with your images. You will be able to share the gallery with friends and families and to download and order directly from it.

If you want to order extra products and make gifts for grandparents and relatives you will be able to do so directly from the gallery. I offer books, bamboo prints, and digital files (click here).

How many persons per session ?
I allow up to 2 parents and 2 kids per sessions. Any extra person or pet is $20 but no more than 6 person per shoot. You need to book 2 slots if above 6 to allow some more time.  Newborns are welcome! You will get a gallery of 15-20 images regardless of the number of person at the photo-shoot.

What should we wear ?
I love modern looks with neutral colors and a dash of primary colors. Stay away from big logos or crazy prints that will draw the attention away. Think of layering clothes (cardigan, sleeveless jacket...), or using different textures (wool, cotton, corduroy...). For the kids, choose an outfit that fits right now, not in 2 months: loose clothes don't show well in pictures. For baby girls who want to wear dresses, put on a bloomer so the diaper won't show.

What should we bring ?
If your kid has a stuffed animal or something he/ she likes to cling on to, you are more welcome to bring it. Keep the size small though. We'll have a few toys handy as well. Bring your outfits (crinkle free!) and some accessories like suspenders or a scarf.

And what if my child is not in the mood that day ?
Try to book a slot according to nap time or feedings. I am used to work with children and I have a great amount of patience. I am a mom of 2 kids myself (a 6 year old fierce girl and a 2 year old energetic little boy) so I totally understand the full gamut of emotions ranging from hysteria to blissfulness. I know what it's like and I will do my very best to cheer them up and put the pressure off of them to capture them at their best. If you think your child might need extra time to warm up then arrive early. I can start with the other sibling too.

Can I buy high resolution images ?
Absolutely. You can buy the high resolution files directly from your gallery and they are available immediately for download. You can use the high resolution files to make your own prints, book, or other products. They cost $40 for one file, $250 for all of them.
TIP: If you are looking for a modern way to use your high definition files, you can order an engineer print and hang it in your kid's bedroom, a corridor, or living room. I will happily convert them in B&W for free if needed, just ask. (An even cheapest option is to print them at Staples for $1,80 to $8 depending on the size).
(You're welcome!).

By purchasing a slot you agree to be bound by Juliette Fradin Photography's Terms and conditions.
