You might be unsure of what to expect. I've been in your shoes! That's why I aim to make your DC newborn session calm, cozy, and intimate.
I prefer a documentary approach, focusing on the genuine moments of life as it is right now.
I'll come to your home or the hospital and we’ll come a couple of hours together. It gives us time to relax, chat, and capture beautiful moments as you embrace your child's first days (or weeks!) on this earth. We'll discuss all the joys and challenges that come with newborn life.
Oh and you can have a newborn session until they’re 3 months old. Rest assured, there won't be any baby-in-a-basket clichés. It gives you time to settle into a routine and new roles as parents.

What to expect during your dc newborn photoshoot?
5-MIN BOOKING TIME
Do you like what you see? Send me a message through my contact page and I’ll share all the details + my updated calendar. Pick the best date and time, sign the contract, pay the session fee and you’ll be booked in no time.
WELCOME + PREP
Once I receive your booking, I’ll email you a confirmation, a questionnaire and share my tips to get ready for your session and get the best photos ever.
PICTURE DAY MAGIC
On picture day, I usually come to you so you don’t have to rush anywhere. You go about your day as you normally would. I may ask you to open the curtains or turn off lights, but I never push you to do anything different.
I'll capture all the precious baby moments.
DIGITALS + PRODUCTS
3 weeks later you’ll receive your email with your slideshow to live again the session but through my lens this time. You’ll probably cry and you'll decide what Collection you want (no need to decide now!). You’ll use your gift card to shop products in the online store and enjoy them for ever. .
DC Newborn photography pricing
All collections include a mix of digitals and products to choose in the online store.
To reserve your date there is a $400 retainer fee that is separate from collections.
The fee is required at the time of booking and signing of contract.
Session fees are separate from collections and do not apply towards any collections.
Session fees cover Juliette Fradin Photography’s time and talent, prep guide, signature post-processing, and delivery of a gallery with +50 images. Products not included.

Maternity sessions typically take place between 30-35 weeks of pregnancy.
However, there's no one-size-fits-all approach as each pregnancy is unique. I’ve photographed moms the day before they gave birth!
We'll schedule your session based on what suits you and your family best.
Have you considered a fresh 48?
No need to worry about dressing up, tidying up the house or preparing props.
Fresh 48 sessions happen in the first couple of days after your baby's born, right there in your hospital recovery room or at home.
You can focus on bonding with your new bébé while I capture those candid moments of love and connection.
You're still in that bubble of the hospital room, away from the outside world.
