This was 2023 • DC photographer for families and newborns
What a year! I had the pleasure of photographing plenty of new families and keeping the good work with returning clients and members of the Photo-fetti Club.
December is the time to look back and celebrate this year of learning and improving. I couldn’t do this without you so thank you for trusting me, for sending me your friends, for letting me into your homes and secret hideouts. I love discovering new places with you and doing so throughout the 4 seasons. We live in a beautiful region from cherry blossoms to Fall foliage.
Here are a few numbers for 2023
I had 68% of all my sessions done in the Fall (between end of August and December) and as you can see above, more than half of my sessions (54%) happened in October and November ONLY. 🤯
And from those 2 months of October and November, 32% of the sessions were for Photo-fetti club members.
Speaking of the membership, 35% of the sessions I shoot annually are now members'. I have 20 Photo-fetti club members at the end of 2023 and I would like to welcome even more families in 2024.
I shot way more mini sessions in 2023 than all previous years because I added the Christmas tree farm minis in November that went very well. They were fun to photograph.

I did all that but also managed to carve some time for myself and not be overwhelmed in the thick of the season (aka Fall).
A big THANK YOU to all who help behind the scene: my bookkeeper, accountant, lawyer, housekeeper, photo friends… and of course my husband for solving tech issues (even with an ocean apart). He makes sure the kids are alive, fed and entertained when I’m out shooting every weekend in the Fall.
