PARDON MY FRENCH,
BUT YOUR FAMILY IS F*CKING AMAZING

I do what I do because I know how fast time goes. One minute they’re a toddler and you
have those tell-tale dark circles under your eyes, and the next they’re a pre-teen and
you have a new knowledge of how hard doors can be slammed.

The images we document of your family are important today, but they’re even more important in five years. They become more valuable with time.

The magical mundane, the unscripted moments and the unconditional love

If this all sounds like exactly what you’re looking for, let’s start a conversation. My side of it will have a French accent, and your side may be accented too. But that’s one of the things I love most about working with families across the DC metro—the thousands of ways to speak, live and parent—all of them valid and worth preserving.

I was born in Paris and grew up in the French countryside. (Was it idyllic? It was. And I look forward to every summer when I can return with my children.) After a job brought my husband and I to America, we settled in the DC suburbs, where we are now raising two bilingual kids, Garance and Gaspard.

Living abroad helps me see the world a little differently and have a true appreciation for all the varied ways to build a life. It has also filled me with gratitude to be able to document that life. Being far from home means I miss weddings, birthdays, funerals, but I also know that the everyday is just as important to remember as the milestones.

This life we lead is a tapestry.

It’s woven of the profound and the imperfect, of beautiful moments and painful ones too.

It’s honest and simple, but there’s magic hiding there if only you take a second to look closer.

Step back, and you can see the whole picture.

“Mom, you’re the best photographer in the entire world!”

—Garance, at age 8

Thanks, sweetheart. You’re pretty awesome too, now go clean your room, please.
And because she may be just a tad biased, take it from these families too…

YOUR IMAGES PLANT MORE THAN MEMORIES

I might not be able to keep houseplants alive, but supporting this planet of ours is threaded through every business decision I make.

When I’m your photographer, you can count on a simple, stress-free experience, images that resonate, and a business that contributes toward a greener planet.

- Trees planted for each purchase
- 1% of all I make donated to carbon removal
- Print products that are curated with sustainability in mind
