Storytelling family photography for a year with twin boys! • Georgetown documentary photographer

A year!! I photographed this family for their first year of being a family of 4. Laura asked me to document their family life in 2017 (the boys were born in December 2016) starting from a maternity session. I captured the first breast-feedings and the family visiting from Italy and Brazil (what an awesome mix), the first steps (and also lots of drooling) and the boys turning 1!
Here are some pictures of our last session together at their home where Matteo and Lucas loved peeking through the window (as they always does). They got LOTS of reactions from passerby!
Mom also asked if I could take some pictures in the shower because this is something she, obviously, cannot do by herself and I loved the idea. It is unique and entirely them, the boys loved it.

Juliette Fradin uses a documentary approach for photographing families so they can just slow down and enjoy the simple moment of being together. If you would like to see more of her recent family photography, head over to her Instagram account. She loves to document the love (and tears) that go into family life, managing a small business or a sweet reunion. Subscribe to my newsletter, I would love to have you there. xx
